Do you have a plan? Do you know where you are going? This is for health, business and life. Are you a list maker? Making a list is one of my favorite things. Checking each item off as I complete it is an amazing feeling! Don’t laugh but my list says things like get out of bed – check it off. Yeah, I did something on my list.  When I feel overwhelmed and that happens when I have about 15 or 20 things going through my head, I make a list. Having my calendar on my phone aligned with my computer has made my life so much easier. If you have lived through days of no power – a paper copy always helps. Yes, I still have a paper calendar on my fridge, so my hubby knows where to find me. We both write where and what we are doing the for the next week and months. At the end of the day, before I go to bed – I go over my to do list and write down all I have accomplished today. How many times we are berating what we didn’t get done. Greatness will not be thrust upon you at home, you must get up, get dressed and get out! Yet amazingly enough that's not what happened at my home today! Do you believe business is everywhere? I do!  Are you open to opportunities? We just moved a month or so ago and are busy getting things done. It's a brand-new house and so many extra jobs to do. Kevin from Clearview Window Films is installing this amazing product that blocks UV rays from fading furniture and paint. My friend Kat Tracey, home stagger/decorator, is here with me as well giving me ideas. How does this relate? Kevin has this amazing process where he can take photos and print it on window film. So, my hubby Joe is a very avid fly fisherman and has many photos of salmon he has caught. In our hallway there are three windows about 2 ft. by 2ft. Guess what we will be looking at everyday? Does your attitude make a difference? In my opinion your attitude is everything. If you think you can – you can! And if you think you can’t you are right but just for you! Was I born with a positive attitude? More likely I was trained to have a positive outlook.  Have I learned about keeping it positive – you bet and it is a daily process. What is that little voice in your head saying to you? Are you feeding positive thoughts to your mind?  A long time ago there was a commercial where the angel sat on one shoulder and the devil on another giving messages to the person. Which message are you hearing and is it serving you? Change your thoughts and it will change your life! Growing up my Mother loved to say to me “Set an example – you have six younger sisters. Life is not a dress rehearsal – we only go this way once! Are you the star in your production? If you knew you couldn’t fail what would you do? February 2014 was a life-changing month for me. I was in the middle of passing a kidney stone while under the influence of great drugs. Spending hours in emergency with my hubby and having time to chat, I said maybe I should retire. Not sure where that came from, but hubby made it clear he thought it was a great idea. No wonder they say don’t sign anything – I waited till the drugs wore off and decided to sell my business back to the company I worked for. How great a feeling that was to know that I could afford to do that.   Now, what was my next step?
