IS YOUR ENTHUSIASM CONTAGIOUS?


Love that word – especially iasm – I am sold myself! Are you enthusiastic? Are you so excited about what you do? So excited that you can’t wait to get out of bed in the morning and get to work making your goals and dreams come true!  Do you believe in what you do? In your company? Your product or service? 

What do I love best about business? Making connections and helping people. Even if I cannot do business with someone, I love to help them find people that they can do business with! When the buy local movement started I loved it. To me that means doing business with local people I see face to face no matter what company they work for. Just think if we all did this, helped one another. I truly believe there is business enough for everyone. It take all kinds to service all kinds!

Do you have a vision board with photos of what you want to achieve? Photos around your house to remind us why we get out of bed. Is there a theme song that gets you pumped to wake up to it playing in your year! A motivational book with a quote you can put on the bathroom mirror or computer screen. I love listening to CDs or books on tapes while driving in my car. You will not get rich knowing what the top 10 songs are on the radio. We need reminders of what we want and what our why is! 

Enthusiasm gets the process started but it is also practicing our skills that propels us ahead.

Don’t you love my $1,000,000 bank note. Great gift for someone who has everything. Notice in big letters – non- negotiable!! Are you wearing your make me feel important sign?

Everyone wears a sign that says "Make me feel important".  We want to be seen and heard and make a connection.  There is a Ted Talks that says if you want to live longer - we need to make more connections.  So everywhere I go, I try to make someone feel special.  A compliment, a kind word, thank you, just a litte extra something.  It doesn't really take more time, but it makes you feel good and the person on the receiving end of your kindness. My hubby and I were in Las Vegas in a line up for tickets to a show.  The people in front of us gave the agent at the desk the worst time, horrible treatment that a person doesn't deserve.  The woman was amazing being so polite and professional.  When we got in front of her we said we were so sorry that she had been treated like that.   She went out of her way to help us get great seats.  When we left we went to find her boss and shared how great she had been to the nasty people an...
